Woodpecker's 'Cheesy' Cooking Session (23rd March 2017)
This week, Woodpecker class tried their hand at making cheesy whirligigs in their Food Technology lesson. Pupils followed the instructions brilliantly; first they rolled out their pastry, then spread on a sauce base of their choosing and added their cheese filling – however you may spot that not everyone is a cheese fan! They then rolled the pastry back up like a Swiss roll and staff helped them to cut out their swirls so they were ready to cook.
As you can see in the pictures below, our pupil’s attempts were brilliant! They should also be very proud of the colourful potato boats they made a couple of weeks ago. Well done!
